Honey mustard crispy chicken strips

Ingrédients

  • 2 pounds of chicken (about 3 large chicken breasts)
  • Salt and pepper

 

Marinade

  • ¼ cup gluten free Dijon mustard
  • ¼ cup gluten-free mayonnaise
  • 2 small garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of honey

 

Breadcrumbs

 

  • 2 cups gluten-free Cannelle Boulangerie breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 tablespoon of paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste

 

Sauce

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise or plain yogurt
  • ¼ cup gluten free Dijon mustard
  • ¼ cup of honey

 

Preparation

  1. Cut the chicken breasts into strips
  2. In a bowl, mix the ingredients for the marinade and place the chicken strips in it. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. While waiting for the strips to marinate, prepare the sauce by mixing the 3 ingredients. Put aside.
  4. In an other bowl, mix the ingredients for the breadcrumbs.
  5. Take one strip at a time and roll well into the crumb mixture. Place on a baking sheet.
  6. Put the strips in the oven for about 15 minutes or until the breadcrumbs are golden brown.
  7. Serve with the mustard sauce and a fresh salad.
